The Tree Lined Avenue

More of the woods. Tonight Poppy and I headed up the hill again as it was a lovely warm evening. Its great to have this nice run of weather as wind and rain see me huddled indoors. I AM in fact made of sugar :-)

This caught my eye tonight, tho I am not sure if the picture does it justice. This is what I call the tree lined avenue. A steep uphill walk with trees and bushes on either side. They have grown tall and now meet in the middle. In the summer they are covered in wild cherries and brambles.

The sun was on its way down and peeping through the entrance at the top giving light and shade to the greenery :-)
