Blossom

A little walk to the beach today, after the allotment. Spotted this on the way.

There is a major plague of flying aphids around at the moment (in fact, first noticed it up at the Castle on Friday). Under the trees or around a shrubbery (Ni! Ni!) they are in dense clouds and fly up your nose or land on your spectacles. They also like to rest inside the lens hood when the camera is round my neck :(

Happily our "untidy" gardening technique means plenty of ladybirds are munching them up :)
