Poppy

Travelled through to Glasgow this morning to attend my friend's dad's funeral. Went the scenic route via the A80 as there was a crash on the M8 first thing this morning, which had brought the traffic to a standstill. My poor friend was stuck in that jam and was in a real panic that she was not going to make it for her dad's service. She eventually arrived at the crematorium just ten minutes late.

Went afterwards to visit my dear mother and father-in-law and spent a lovely afternoon with them. They both looked so well and it was lovely to see them.

Flowers in the garden again tonight, I'm afraid!
