Parade

Today was the last day of the 'Avondvierdaagse', if you're not Dutch stop trying to pronounce :-)) Its It is an annual event of all primary schools. The children and (some) parents walk 5 or 10 km for 4 evenings in a row. I used to participate all four walks, every year when the boys were younger. This year I only walked the last evening. This last evening friends and relatives wait for the children to enter the center of the city, bringing flowers and lots of candy to give away. The students above were dropping orange horns. You can see part of it in the bottom, falling down.

Tomorrow a hospital visit with R. for pulling a wisdom tooth before his catheterisation and aortic valve operation. Still donn't know excactly when the operation wil be. Thank's blippers for all good wishes and Raphael for sharing your knowledge and good advises, it really means a lot!
