London Bridge!

We got up this morning much later! It was after 8.30 when I surfaced! Sorted out our stuff in slow time while we watched some TV.

Headed out to a couple of stores before grabbing a bite to eat and then off on the road again.

This time we headed south through more BIG COUNTRY down the I-95 through some small places. We drove through Searchlight, then Laughlin, Bullhead City, and Needles. We were in three states, Nevada, then Arizona, then a bit of California before going back into Arizona. Followed the Colorado river for quite a bit of the journey!

Finally we arrived in Lake Havasu City, Az. Where we are staying in the Hampton Inn overlooking the lake, and round the corner from London Bridge! Yes you heard right... the bridge in the blip is London Bridge which was bought in 1968, for around 2.5 million dollars. Dismantled brick by brick and numbered before being shipped here and rebuilt at a cost of another 4.5 million dollars! Completed and opened here in 1971. Madness!
