LBJ-Little Brown Job-is what I would have called this lovely little bird if I hadn't been lucky enough to run into two bird watchers who told me it is a willow flycatcher. He posed for a long time, first on one twig and then on another, while I blipped away, trying to capture him singing his little heart out. As you can see, I was successful...after 20-25 shots.

This was a pretty laid back day for me. At least, that is the way I treated it. I did no heavy duty housework, didn't go to the grocery store, and didn't do any laundry. Instead I spent over two hours wandering around the park, taking pictures to my heart's content. Then, after going out to a nice lunch with Bob, I downloaded them to the computer and spent several more hours on post-processing and organizing my Smugmug galleries. Fun stuff! The skies were grey most of the day, but that didn't interrupt my blipping. Tonight it is raining a bit though. I wonder what the chances are for a sunny Saturday?
