GLORIOUS YORKSHIRE
Another trip to Langcliffe Quarry today in search of Peregrine Falcons. Nil, or at least silent and too well hidden to be spotted.
But a walk round the Hoffman lime kiln showed a carpet of wild flowers growing from the outside walls. Apparently there will be Orchids nearby later, and I saw the leaves but was too early for the flowers.
This is the sloping wall of the lime kiln and, through a curtain of wild flower stems, the stone walls and pastures of the Yorkshire Dales.
How lucky I am too live in this glorious place.
