Race Day

Been a loooooong long day today. Woke up at 7.30 to drop off my friend who was doing the marathon this morning. She was meeting the rest of her relay team in town and since the buses are tragic round here I took her in. The plan was to go back to bed (Acronymphomania had never left it - there's nothing worse than having to get up and leave someone else to go back to sleep) but I stopped in Asda and bought breakfast (and was guilted into buying a pan to make poached eggs but thats another story) and was too awake after I got home. So I played nice girlfriend and made sure A woke up too. ;)

Had a bit of a wander round the shops including getting some lamb which A butterflied with a really yummy marinade and BBQed. :)

Went to pick up my friend who had finished the race by this point and was very happy to have done so!

Nice relaxing evening with some West Wing and then an early night.
