The drama of ... gelato?

Clothes shopping with 11 year old girls ... surely gelato is reward enough? It was a successful trip, without the usual angst, but the promised gelato was still on order, although from the look the camera received it appears photos were optional!

This is our favorite gelato shop, in the heart of the old town of Acqui Termi in Piemonte, Italia - we think it is the best in all of Italy, and while that may be a bit of an overstatment, being located close to the house (and across the street from someone's favorite clothing store) it has a definite edge.

A great way to start a great weekend...
