Mohawk

This is a heron, but what kind I am not sure. Larger than a Small blue and not as big as Great Blue; A Reddish Egret, which would have been my best guess, as they have rough feathers on their heads and neck, also has a pink beak with a black end, so I am stumped. I am sure EZ knows?

He was fishing in the early morning sun; if I were a fish, I would not be hanging around when I saw that look on his face.
