The Happy Builder

We were invited for dinner to our friends N&J (and wee E). It was so great to see them and catch up. Afterwards we took a walk from the flat to their allotment garden. Here you can see N (with the power stapler in his hand) standing in front of their new allotment cottage that he built last year. Still lots to do indoors, but it's coming on very nicely. The windows will go in shortly - they are beautiful!

The old cottage sadly was in very bad condition, so the only alternative was to tear it down and build a new one.

As much as they've enjoyed the building process, N&J are now longing for the time when they have more time to do the garden and maybe even relax a bit. :-)
