Beastie

I was wondering how today would go for a blip. I had a plan. Not a good one, but something I could do and then this came along. Another part of the homework for the magazine course (mentioned in this blip) is to take a macro-like picture of an insect or other small beastie. I'd not seen much until this appeared when I was moving some soil in the garden so, two birds with one shutter release - today's blip and homework complete.

And the photo I had planned can be saved for another day ;-)

Oh - anyone any idea what it is?
