Haystacks

We headed to the Lake District this morning. There are far too few opportunities for us to go out walking and so today was special.

The sun was out and there was only a slight wind so conditions were super!

We parked at Honister slate mines and walked over to 'Haystacks". There were few others out and about, but generally we did not have to share the mountain with many. The Jack Russells loved it and we treated ourselves to a scrummy ice cream when we finally got back to the car. Yum!
