lonely ball

walking by what passes for a river around here i saw this little red ball, just floating along, all on its lonesome. it seemed so sad. the area surrounding the river is one of those regeneration type schemes and while the buildings they have put up are an improvement they still look incredibly drab. so this little ball while/whilst(?) being a small beacon of light amongst this urban nightmare was still so sad, as no matter how vibrant the red was it was always in the shadow of the grey bleak surroundings.
wish i had something cheerier, esp after a weekend packed full of top sports results but there you go, just one of those days.
