Turned the page on the calendar today and found this photo of a Ford Cortina Mk3.

Loads of memories as we had one of these while we were courting. It was exactly this model, on an L plate but in blue.

Lovely car.

Talking of which. Has anyone else out there wondered how much fuel is being wasted due to the extra aerodynamic drag caused by all these people driving around with England flags hanging off every available point of their cars!

Nearly as much as BP are losing into the Gulf of Mexico I bet.

You may have guessed. Can't wait till the end of the World Cup. And if England get any further than their third game............................I'll eat a flag!
