I can't believe it!

.......................to coin a phrase!

As you will know, Mrs DD and I have recently been forced into the game of Geocaching and no, I'm not going to bore you with another tale of how we found this one.

Rather, the fact that we found this secluded and tranquil spot by the Montgomery canal, not three miles from where we have lived for the past 17 years. It's testimony to the fact that it is so secluded, that we did not know it existed.

This cache was hidden in the winding mechanism of an old canal sluice gate. I'm sure it hasn't been used for a long time.

But we will be back, with the dogs in tow next time.
