Sling Time

Back Blipped

I wore Lyra in the sling for hours every day at this point. Daddy never really got the hang of it though and would tend to carry her. There were a few occasions when he walked around wearing Lyra and she would dose off... As he quickly learned, the trick was always to keep moving if you wanted her to stay asleep. She could sleep through building work, house work, being jostled and jolted around... but sit down quietly with a glass of water and those bright blue eyes flicked open instantly.

This was the day that Lyra first started grabbing and hitting things. Once she got a little more proficient at it, I took a short video.
