Back Blipped

Lyra is pictured here with Melanie her Midwife. Melanie and Rachel had offered me a huge amount of support before, during and after Lyra's Birth. Both became good friends and Melanie still pops around for tea, a natter and a cuddle occasionally now.

On this day, Lyra's little cousin Dylan James O'Rourke was born. So Tom and I became an Aunt and Uncle for the first time. My Mother was very excited to become a grandma again. Having urged both my older sister Natalie and myself to have babies since we were 16, many many years on she finally got her dream of becoming a grandma twice over and just three months apart.
