Presents!

Back Blipped

Lyra's early weeks and months were a long succession of presents from everybody - friends, neighbours, relatives, friends' parents... you name it. She was the first baby in each of our families and the first among all our friends and the first baby on our street for 30 years! (We live in a bungalow, all our immediate neighbours are retired - it's great, it means there is always someone around for a chat).

Here, Lyra is wearing a beautiful cardigan that was crocheted for her by my ultra talented neighbour Diana who has made Lyra no end of beautiful things. My sister was particularly envious of this garment and desperately wanted one in her size. (I feel that way about many of Lyra's clothes to be honest!)
