A Busy Day at the Beach

We had a leisurely boat trip through the reed beds (where they filmed 'African Queen') to the beach.

Itzuzu beach is the nesting site of giant Loggerhead turtles and is a conservation site where the nesting turtles are protected. ln all the times we have visited here we have only once seen a Loggerhead turtle swimming in the sea. A sight to behold. They look so ancient.

After a day on the mobbed beach we are back at the ranch having showered and about to go for our massages!

Then a chilled beer...........then some beautifully cooked Turkish food at Saki's

Life couldn't be much better than this!
