Douglas lake

Becca left today driving downstate and then West across the country to visit friends and explore for a few weeks. She will be in Portland Oregon in two days. All that separates her is a few thousand miles and a long stretch of Nebraska. I'll miss her but know she'll be back here in a few weeks. This place is special for her too and so more adventures await.

For now I need to rest from road tripping. Back on Douglas Lake, there is no place better. Normally this time of year is wood stove weather but this spring it is so warm and sunny its like a beach paradise on the water. I can't complain, but only oblige. And so my life is quickly becoming semi-aquatic....kind of like an otter.
