The end ...

... of the day - the view from my back door this evening,

It's also been a very difficult day for me - the end of a chapter of my life.

Tonight I told the children than my husband and I are separating.

It's very difficult to explain it to them, especially when things haven't been sorted and finalised ... but I couldn't go on without them knowing.

They're both upset, but I think I handled it in the best way I could. At least I hope I did.

Time will tell.
