Meadows
Today was a day for walking. After drop-off I walked all the way from near the King's Theatre to Pollockhalls where I was helping with a conference. 35 minutes later I got there, early enough to enjoy coffee and biscuits and a bit too late for the first briefing. It was nice to meet some of the people of the previous day again and then to listen to the speeches at the conference. In the afternoon workshops and then another meeting before walking all the way back to Tollcross for Pilates.
This blip is taken in the last bit of Meadows just before getting to the croquet ground? field? green? and the Unicorn on its pillar. I wonder how anybody knew which team they were on, they were dressed so multi-colouredly...
My back got a bit better from the exercise and after that lovely asparagus, steak and home-made mash with my friend A.
(This Pilates business is getting me back into a "just-me" mode where I do something just for me (not the wife or the mother) and I get too see my friend on a nearly weekly basis. This is luxury!)
