canoefest day 2

start of the official canoefest today. 11 strong ventured out today - only, well, 11, returned. but, much less coherent than before (so, it's not much of an adventure trip, i know).

here's dj doing what he does best - managing not to be in his canoe. hey buddy, you don't have to shake it when you're already in the water!

of course, it was my canoe that tipped today - unstrapped at a very inopportune moment in attempt to free from rocks - water got the best of us on that one.

unstrapped, you say? yes, that's pretty much canoefest. one long weekend with good friends, bound together in canoes for sport drinking, fishing, and camaraderie.
