Big Day Out

We took a trip to Glasgow with the main event of the day being Paradise Island Adventure Golf at Xscape in Glasgow. Turns out that Xscape is quite a way out from Glasgow and you have to get a bus through Govan (eek!) which was made worse by the fact that we choose to head over there just after all the shops closed. The crazy golf was OK, it was extremely hot and we managed a rather terrible +8 par for Jen and +13 par for me.

We made it to a few more of the places we wanted to go , including Torres for a bite to eat, passable food, some nice Black Pudding and Chorizo but a bit pricey for what you got. We had some food in Slumdog, which by contrast was heavenly. Daal Makhini and Peshwari Naan was about the best I've had, the Peshwari Naan especially was light and crispy with a nice buttery sheen on top. My Lamb Kebabs came in a lovely copper pot with 2 dips and were soft and juicy.
