Gardening

Today has been a day of gardening. I've tidied up the shed - and I'm a bad girl, I threw away some rusty screws & nails. Guess what - Chris wanted them today! Typical! Anyway I can now get on with ordering some wood for winter. I've dead-headed the hanging baskets, washed the patio down, taken Barney for a walk. I've fed all the plants in the house and pruned the plants in the front garden.

In between all this activity I found time to sit in the sun, mug of tea in hand, with a book and spent a lovely hour reading.

Then back to the grindstone. Fresh loaf is made, together with some pate - and we're going out tonight! Yay..... thanks to a lovely friend who is coming to babysit.
