At the Zoo

Since we still have our membership, we might as well use it...we will not renew it though since we never went more than 5 times which would have cost the same sadly. We just live that little bit too far and having to get a taxi there and back just makes it into a major expedition rather than a fun time.

Enjoyed it though and got there early enough to sit at the Penguin Caffe enjoying coffee on the terrace, feeling like on a normal Summer's day somewhere in Europe where that kind of weather is normal rather than a heatwave! The girls enjoyed playing in the playpark and we got to see some of the animals.

In the afternoon we spent some time at playpark, some time in the garden and a lot of time cleaning the stairs which was a major task with all three girls. They had a lot of fun, me a bit more stress but it was fine.
