The Calla Lilies are in Bloom Again!

At the top of our hill two underground springs bubble up out of the ground and after about fifty yards they join together to make their trip down the hill, beside our old house and in to the lake! In places it widens into calm little pools and in other places it get hung up on this or that and makes little waterfalls. It always gurgles, especially after the rain.

Years ago, when we lived here, I planted lilies up where the first little pond captured the two little streams and made them one. Sometime, over the years, the bulbs have been washed down stream and a few have stopped here and made a home and a few have stopped there and made their haven.

I like these because they are leaning into the creek. Perhaps they are thirsty and want to sip some of that clear, cool, water!
