Memorial Union

This is the student union at my school, the University of Columbia. I took the picture at dawn, after shooting something else for another assignment for my photojournalism class. It's a very golden, autumn-looking sunrise and it makes me sad that winter, with all its coldness and blue light, is on its way.

I think underexposing the architecture emphasized the light in a nice way.
