The new Kanye album is excellent but very much a pop album - I guess that'll make him stratospheric. It's not quite on a par with his last/first 2 efforts yet but we'll see. Three dull ones in the middle, one after the other, strips it of classic status.

My Stevie Wonder/Michael Jackson/Prince era-defining soundbite in mid-July seems to have hit a chord with my good mate Rick for the mid-August Corn Exchange gig and he knows his music!
