The domestic life of swans...

..driving rain and wind at the mouth of the Esk - and a bit of a race to get this before the lens got covered in spray. By the time I zoomed in for nice framed shots, not only was the lens soaked - so was I and ready to withdraw.

Mother (I'm guessing) getting on with the domestic hatching job, while Father gets himself spruced up for a night out!
