Oh No! Not the World Cup again!

I took this picture this morning when I took Joe (my little cairn terrier) for his walk.

The World Cup is approaching, full of drama and of passion
There's only one thing left to do, and that's to get our cash on

I'd love to see England win, but I'm not a total loony
We lack the class; we've only got Wayne Rooney

His support is just appalling; I mean Crouch and Heskey's going
They're not fit to clean the boots of the likes of Michael Owen

Capello knows he's struggling, he's rarely very merry
He spends his time just chasing WAGs away from Johnny Terry

The England camp's in disarray, their chances now have vanished
Man-for-man, we're well behind the likes of the skilful Spanish

I refuse to tip up Spain though; the odds are far too short
We need to look at other teams and give each a little thought

France I'm ruling out, with Thierry Henry on the bench
They're only decent with their hands, those no-good cheating French

I'm looking for real value, and I'm thinking of the Dutch
They rarely play as a united team, so I'm not investing much

I need a team at decent odds to take the bookies to the cleaner
There's only one that fits the bill, and that is Argentina

Maradona is a worry, but the players are just outstanding
Tevez, Higuain and Messi, in many goals they'll have a hand in

The choice is made, the odds and stake are now left to determine
May the best team win, or better still, any team that isn't German
