One Hundred!
My one hundredth blip!
No one is more surprised than me, because when I joined Blipfoto on January 14th this year, I was sure I wouldn't last 2 weeks here. So my thanks to everyone in this marvelous community for the fun and encouragement, and for helping me walk a little slower and look a little closer.
The stone pestle is a mainstay in my kitchen.
The old cast iron weight was a flea market find. Cost me all of 1 Euro, cheaper than a plastic doorstop.
The salt-glaze bowl was made by my friend Steve Harrison, a gifted English potter.
The peony is from my garden.
The quilt is a treasured keepsake made by my sister-in-law Jenny who now lives in Perth, Australia with her family.
They are all a part of my everyday. Life is grand.
