Party Fish
On Friday evening, T and I were invited to a big work-related dinner at a fancy Chinese restaurant in Brussels. The place looked like a cross between a Chinese brothel and a Bollywood film set. It was expensive and tawdry at the same time. The food was predictably mediocre, nothing tasted authentically Chinese. But the people we met were fun and the wine was decent. The restaurant foyer had a glass floor where you could see dozens of giant koi underneath. I felt sorry for the fish, and thankful they weren't on the menu.
Note:
Have belatedly realised that this and my blip of June 8th, both taken in low light, have light reflections showing up in a cross formation. An interesting coincidence to me, no symbology intended.
