Brooch.

This huge brooch was a gift from my sister for my birthday a few weeks ago. She takes part in re-enacting events up and down the country in her spare time. She gets to go shopping at some wonderful stands when she's away and often buys gifts for birthdays and Christmas from such events. She takes part in anything from Iron Age to Elizabethan periods I understand. Her warderobe is so much more interesting than my jeans and t-shirts for sure ;-)

I'm not sure what time period this brooch is from but it's in need of a rather long swishy cloak I think!
