Work

Work this morning was very much hampered by the modem having given up its ghost in the office. This just showed us how much we've come to depend on the internet for transmission of nearly all data we use, scary in a way. So off we went to an early coffee so the socialising that also happens on a Thursday in that office could get done despite (or should that be in spite of) the lack of internet connection. Luckily the internet connection at J's home office was working and I got another shot at using the fancy leflet-producing programme which is time-consuming to say the least but also a lot of fun.

Time was a bit of a luxury item today and also part of a somewhat difficult discussion but it all worked out in the end and I'm glad that because of friendship even challenging discussions end well.

A long wee blether with my friend over a cup of tea and then I started the new Thursday afternoon cleaning duty; B does the hoovering on a Monday and the other cleaning was done mostly at weekends, taking away time from the kids and making weekends not always something to look forward to. Now L goes to P even on a Thursday afternoon which gives me some time to clean bathroom and kitchen properly as well as tidying the flat. I'm glad it's not all down to me all the time though.
