Fooling around

A and L had great fun running around with L's new showercap and goggles this morning. My only blips for today and tomorrow (this is a backblip) are of the girls and I'm aware of the fact that blips of children are sometimes sort of easy blips and I don't want them to take over in my blip. But there was the choice of leaving a blank or filling it and I decided to fill it.

Started to think a bit more about what being a mother might mean and I realise that I don't like the bit where I have to be responsible. I love the fooling around, jumping about, running and general chaos of childhood and I join in as much as I can but I'm finding it hard to be the authority, to say 'no' with conviction and to do the 'it's because I'm your mother and I say so'.

Lots to learn (as well as taking good portraits, there were blips that were showing A's face more clearly but I decided against them because I'd managed to cut either some of the head or some of the chin off.
