Hoglet Update
It's been a couple of days since I added a picture. The hoglets have been with us for one week now. They all came in weighing between 20g and 27g and have been steadily going up. They are now all over 40g and are really starting to look like proper hedgehogs.
At this point I would like to stress that the babies are not being fed milk. We are using a special feed.
Under no circumstances should hedgehogs or any other wildlife be given cows milk as they are lactose intolerant and can be made seriously ill.
If any hedgehog is found out during the day it is sick and needs to be taken to a vet or the nearest carer you can find. A delay can mean the difference between life and death.
