I guess I should think about taking these cards down soon, but I think I'll leave them up a little longer - it's nice to remember how many good friends I've got. I'll have been here two weeks tomorrow - the time has gone very quickly but I still don't feel very settled in. Hopefully, once the bedroom carpets have been laid tomorrow and I have a chance to get those rooms sorted out, it will start to feel a bit straighter. Still lots of boxes around though, but until I get the lounge carpet laid, there isn't much point in unpacking the stuff downstairs as it will only have to be emptied out the cupboards again so that they can be moved for the carpet to be laid. The sooner I can decide on a colour the better - then I can really settle in.
