Hotze Schuil

This is the statue of Hotze Schuil, the greatest kaatser of the last century. You have to be Frisian to understand Kaatsen. It is a rather complicated ball sport. Instead hitting the ball back with a bat, you have to use your bare hand only protected by a thin leather glove.
