Roadrunner chick

It has been right dreich today so we went for a drive out exploring by Dufftown and the Glenfiddich distillery. We headed across to Drummuir and back to Balvenie Castle where Louisa and the kids had seen some nesting oystercatchers a few weeks ago.

The chicks have grown quite a bit and were hurtling around the castle ruins mainly due to Niamh who was intent on 'rescuing' them!
