Beats 2 and 3

On the way to the site this morning to conduct a geotechnical survey for Sabrina the engineer, we stopped off at fantastic spot on the River Avon a mile or so downstream. The river runs with a deep brown 'peaty' colour that the kids call coca-cola.

It is a popular fishing beat - part of the Ballindalloch estate. There is no fishing on a Sunday, so we are looking forward to the next (?!) sunny weekend for a lazy barbecue.
