Winter is here!

Not as cold as I had expected it to be, and with patches of sunlight around the mountains it makes a lovely view.
The mountains that are partly or mostly obscured by these ones in the front, seem to have had a heavier sprinkling, but not enough of them is visible from this view point.

We also had a good downpour throughout the night and the two 'newly' installed water tanks are overflowing. More than anything we hope that enough water will fall in the catchment area for the dam to really benefit.

I do miss my hot bath in winter, especially with the bath water level at 3 centimeters - it is cold and not fun anymore!

Hopefully all the europeans and visitors from the northern hemisphere will not find our winter too cold ... fortunately the sun is not very shy.

In the last few minutes the wind has picked up, and now it feels really chilly and unpleasant outside.
