Reunited!
Just a few of the many guests at a "Reunion" at our house on this Saturday.
The function is intended as a get-together of former members of my research group, along with their families. We try to have a summer and a winter reunion each year. In the summer, we try to have a BBQ, and my colleague from Uruguay, where there's a good tradition of carniverous BBQ, usually offers to do the cooking.
A more complete set of photographs (and a growing one) can be found here.
It was a splendidly warm and sunny afternoon, which was great luck for us, given the weather on the surrounding days. We were also treated to an air show, almost directly overhead: many groups of formation aircraft, culminating with the Red Arrows. My colleagues had to work really hard to organise that (Oh! OK then! They were the formation of the fly-past for the Queen's Birthday, presumably regrouping at Brize Norton).
