Sports Day

This morning it was Sports Day for a nursery from the vicinity on the lawn in front of our office building. The kids kept to the lines on the grass but when it came to the dads they ran all round the tree and everywhere!

However, later in the afternoon the Home for Older People next door had their sports day which seemed to involve a lot of sitting, watching and drinking juice outside and nothing much happening. Although, it may be that the big chestnut is masking all the action behind it. At some point I could see a ball being thrown but no running or Zimmer races or other sporty pursuits on the white lanes.

When I came home I was quite excited about Switzerland's win and nearly blipped something Swiss but preferred this one in the end.
