Missile Site

The Meditation Walk that you see in the foreground is a concrete cap that covers a decommissioned Titan Missile Site.

After the Titan Milssile Program was closed after one of the SALT Treaties, the government sold (or maybe gave) the property to the Methodist Church that you see in the background.

I didn't know whether to title this photo Missile Site or Missal Site.

Today, it was the site of a Vacation Bible School for children. A lot more peaceful, don't you think?
