Lantana

Uploaded during halftime of the NBA Finals 7th Game.

Purple Lantana taken early this morning with 18-55 zoom lens.

I'm trying to convince myself to purchase a nice macro lens. Currently, my thinking is the 100mm Canon Macro but I think I'l wait until Canon issues the IS II version with 4 stops of stabilization.

So far I have been completely happy with the 70-200 F4 IS on close-ups and I'm waiting for the 1:1.4 converter that I just ordered to give me a tad more range for birds.

Oh well, we can dream...
