Birthday

It's MY birthday........love my birthday because it's at the best time of year, here in scotland anyway.

The weather was warm but not very sunny.

J was doing his giant walking bus with his school. The whole school walked along a main rd holding banners and posters with the slogans "20's plenty" and "slow down!". This is to try and get motorists to slow down, particularly around schools.

We went to Chop Chop in Leith. Because there was 8 of us they gave us the private room. This was good because the kids were under the table and taking their shoes off and the like so it was good to be contained.

Then when we were going back to our car, J started to get upset because he thought he'd left his poster. So as we were passing the back door, which was open, we looked in and saw the owner of the resturant who was standing talking to someone. I caught his attention and explained about the poster and being a very nice man said he'd go and have a look. Just as he'd left to look J said " oh it's ok it's in your bag....I remember now". The owner came back with a very grubby, disgusting sock in his hand. "is this yours?" Yep.....it was J's.
