Keelung, Taiwan

Arrived in Taiwan last night and my old friends from Australia, Volk and Judy, picked me up from the airport. Together they've created a designer line of pyjamas for the domestic market. We went to Keelung (north of Taipei) where the clothes are produced by three women at a small shop. The city is built on narrow streets and the main express way snakes its way through a maze of old buildings. I wish I had taken a photo earlier when the road was more densely surrounded by apartment blocks.
