Deadwood, Hampstead heath

With my good friend Orlando, over from Strasbourg, we took the dog up to Hampstead heath. First to the excellent Spaniards pub for some lunch, then on to Kenwood house and the heath itself. He has brought a serious camera in the form of the M9 Leica so this turned into a bit of a photography expedition - as we were returning we came across this very dead but very sculptural tree. As the sunlight was dipping it was lit perfectly so we got clicking.
